What inspired the decision to begin Craft Circle?
Craft Circle was a calling, not a choice. My deep-rooted passion for handlooms and handicrafts dates back to my childhood, and it's only grown stronger over the years. What truly ignited my entrepreneurial spirit was witnessing the struggles of artisans relying on consignment-based models used by many Indian brands. It seemed profoundly unjust to me that these artisans should bear the brunt of unsold products.
So, I set out to change this system, to ensure every artisan receives the respect they rightfully deserve. This drive led me to create Craft Circle, a place where every product is sourced directly from the artisans. Their compensation is no longer tied to our sales, but to the value they bring.
